Specialization in Finance
We are the first Faculty dedicated to the study of finances and our experience spans more than 28 years which allows us to prepare Experts in Applied Finances with the capacity to make decisions that favorable impact profitability and the generation of value in public and private institutions.
Additionally, it is the only program in finances that offers three lines of knowledge: International Finances, Project Evaluation or Investment Banking, allowing the student to study their area of interest in depth.
Candidate profile
The program is aimed at professionals of diverse professional careers immersed in financial and administrative areas who want to strengthen their competences in Finance and at the same time to deepen from a technical and computational point of view some of the disciplines that make up the financial area, such as Corporate Finance, Project Finance, International Finance, Financial Risks or the most current of these disciplines, Algorithmic Finance.

- El Especialista en Finanzas del Externado tendrá la capacidad de analizar y enfrentar de manera técnica y con profundas bases cuantitativas y computacionales los diversos retos financieros y empresariales derivados de la competencia global tanto de los mercados financieros como corporativos.
- Podrá demostrar competencias aplicadas a las finanzas desde la computación en lenguajes de programación adaptados al mundo del Big Data y de la generación y administración masiva de datos administrativos y financieros que genera una empresa, su sector económico o en general un mundo globalizado e interconectado.
- Generará modelos de gestión y análisis de los diferentes mercados financieros y empresariales, aumentar su capacidad de minimizar los riesgos y maximizar la rentabilidad del mercado en el que interactúan generando valor a la empresa o entidad en la que laboran.
