Ezana Habte-Gabr
English teacher
Ezana has taught Social Science and English language at university and school levels. After completing high school in Ethiopia, he moved to the United States and earned an undergraduate degree in Geography from the University of Iowa. He later obtained an MA degree in Geography from the University of Northern Iowa. He is interested in combining the teaching of English and Social Sciences and has assisted in research in this area. In addition to this area of applied linguistics, Ezana has an abiding interest in the area of Population and Development and has taught and developed courses in this field. Living in Ethiopia, the US and Colombia has provided Ezana with interesting perspectives on development, society and language.
