Walther Suárez
English teacher
Walther was born in Bogotá, Colombia. He graduated from Universidad Nacional de Colombia where he obtained a teaching degree: Licenciado en FilologÃa e Idiomas. Some years later, Walther decided to make a career move into translation studies. Then, he obtained a MasterÂ’s degree in Translation studies from EAN University and Pompeu Fabra University in Spain. Shortly afterwards, he found a great deal of interest in assessment and exam training, so he found a job to explore these fields as well.
Most of Walther’s teaching career has been devoted to teaching teens and university students. Politécnico Grancolombiano, EAN University, San Buenaventura University and Fucsalud are some of the places where Walther has had tremendously rewarding teaching experiences, helping students learn English, legal and finance-related translation, reading and writing skills, international exam preparation among other interesting subjects.
Music, cars and films are a few things Walther is really into. He also loves reading about history and politics, but not as much as soccer. HeÂ’s a big fan of the best team Bogota has ever had.
