A course on decision-making based on evidence will be taught with Essex University
The objective of the course, in alliance with the Faculty of Economics and FIGRI, is to provide relevant concepts and tools for decision-making at the local level.
This March 17 will begin the course «Decision-making based on evidence», thanks to the alliance between the Faculties of Economics and Finance, Government and International Relations of Externado University, and teachers of the Department of Government of Essex University from the UK.
The course is part of the COLGOVÂ’s project, an interdisciplinary group of teachers, researchers, students and civil society committed to promoting a culture of governance through the use of data for local development.
The objective of this space is to provide relevant concepts and tools for decision-making based on evidence at the local level. It will be developed in theoretical-practical sessions and keynote talks and will be aimed at public officials of the municipal mayors of the municipalities of Mesetas, Puerto Concordia, Puerto Lleras, Restrepo, Villavicencio and Vista Hermosa, as well as personnel from different entities of the Meta department.
