Types of Agreements

  1. Reciprocity: This type of agreement allows the universities to exchange students. The cost of tuition is paid at the home university and the available admission depends on the demand existing between the universities.
  2. Non-reciprocity agreement: There is no movement back and forth between the universities and therefore the student pays the tuition of the partner university. The agreement allows for paying lower costs than those that a student would have to pay outside the agreement.
  3. Double Major: This agreement allows for recognizing the study programs of both institutions. Therefore, the student can obtain the degree from the Universidad Externado and from the partner university. The student in this case assumes the tuition costs of the foreign university.
