What are the requirements to participate in the student exchange program?

The student must present their candidacy during the semester immediately preceding the one in which they wish to study abroad. Which is to say, the student must present their candidacy in February if they wish to study abroad in the second semester of that year or in August if they wish to participate in the student exchange program during the first semester of the following year. Additionally, they must:

Have a minimum GPA of 3.8/5.0

Have completed six semesters of their undergraduate program

Fulfil the language proficiency level demanded by the university where they wish to study.

Have no record of a disciplinary nature throughout their undergraduate studies.

Not be behind in terms of credits or subjects.

 

Languages

The student that is interested in participating in the student exchange program in a country that does not have Spanish as their first language must meet the language proficiency demands to continue their studies in the language of the program. The level of proficiency demanded is determined by the partner university and can be accredited through the following international exams:

English: Toefl, Ielts Academic (each university establishes the minimal required score).

French: Delf or TNF organized by FIGRI and the Alianza Francesa for each call.

Portuguese: CELPE BRAS or the Portuguese exam established by FIGRI.
