PAVIVIR: “Política, religión y tolerancia”

Este miércoles 2 de mayo, Luisa Monsalve (Universidad Externado de Colombia) presentará la aproximación titulada “Política, religión y tolerancia”.

El Programa de Filosofía y la Biblioteca invitan al nuevo ciclo de Pasiones, Vicios & Virtudes – PAVIVIR, un espacio que brinda a la comunidad académica la posibilidad de encontrarse y reflexionar de manera crítica, abierta y plural, en torno a la naturaleza inquietante de los afectos humanos y su lugar en las prácticas éticas, políticas y estéticas de nuestro tiempo.

La programación del primer semestre de 2018 gira en torno a la pregunta: “¿Cómo pensar la tolerancia hoy?”, y se articula con el “III Concurso de Creatividad Reflexiva”, cuya premiación tendrá lugar en el “Día de la filosofía en el Externado” (mayo 18 de 2018).

On Wednesday, May 2, 2018, Luisa Monsalve (Externado de Colombia University) will present the approximation "Politics, religion, and tolerance."

The Philosophy Program and the Library invite to the new cycle of «Passions, Vices & Virtues» -PAVIVIR – a setting offering the academic community a plural and open space for critical reflection on the troubling nature of human affections and their influence on ethical, political, and aesthetic practices of our time.

The programming for the 2018 first semester revolves around the question: «How to think tolerance today?» The programming is coupled with the «III Reflective Creativity Competition, which will hold its awards ceremony May 18, 2018, within the framework of the “Philosophy Day at the Externado” celebration.
