“La ‘Hiperbrevedad’” en el Taller Virtual de Escritura Creativa

“Circo mínimo”, el título que confiere identidad a este nuevo ciclo, es un acercamiento a la ‘minificción’, que se diferencia del cuento convencional no solo por la brevedad, sino por la ‘fractalidad’ y la ironía simbólica.

El título del taller hace referencia a una de las ‘minificcionesÂ’ más leídas de la escritora argentina Ana María Shua, referente del género en Latinoamérica.

Durante ocho sesiones, los asistentes reconocerán la potencia creadora en relatos cortos y otros enunciados breves de autores como Raúl Brasca, Nana Rodríguez, Umberto Senegal y Cioran, entre otros.

Además, en el Taller Virtual de Escritura Creativa se realizarán ejercicios de escritura ‘hiperbreve’, creación de aforismos y proverbios, y debates sobre fenómenos gráficos como los memes y el shitposting.

El martes 22 de septiembre, el ciclo continúa con la construcción de los textos más breves de la ‘minificción’, aquellos que no superan las tres líneas narrativas.

"Minimal Circus," the title giving identity to this new cycle, is an approach to 'minifiction,' which differs from the conventional story not only because of its brevity but also because of its 'fractality' and symbolic irony.

The title of the workshop refers to one of the most widely read ‘mini-fictions’ by Argentine writer Ana María Shua, a reference of the genre in Latin America.

During eight sessions, attendees will appreciate the creative power in short stories and other short texts by authors such as Raúl Brasca, Nana Rodríguez, Umberto Senegal, and Cioran, among others.

Additionally, the Virtual Creative Writing Workshop will hold ‘hyper-brief’ writing exercises, creation of aphorisms and proverbs, as well as debates on visual phenomena such as ‘memes’ and shitposting.

The cycle continues on September 22, 2020, with the construction of the shortest ‘minifiction’ texts, those not exceeding three narrative lines. If wishing to participate, please register HERE
