The Faculty of Finance, Government and International Relations has organized a talk to discuss the true scope of the disease threatening to become a global pandemic.
Identifying the economic and health challenges caused by the proliferation of Covid-19 goes beyond what is known through the media. The virus is already present in the Latin American region and, therefore, a reflection is necessary to understand how real is everything said, how much is an exaggeration, or what remains to be said.
This event is a continuation of a reflection Professor Lina Luna, of the Research and Special Projects Center, began in her column for the World Coordinates Blog, where she concludes that it is necessary to set aside prejudices, objectively view the situation in China, and learn from its experience to better understand this disease, report responsibly, and act without alarmism.
