El Centro de Estudios sobre Genética y Derecho invita a la charla a cargo de Carlos Mario Ramírez, Director General de la Administradora de los Recursos del Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud (ADRES).

Esta cuarta sesión del primer ciclo de charlas sobre GenÃ©tica y Derecho tiene como objetivo analizar los distintos problemas que se presentan en la financiaciÃ³n del Sistema Nacional de Salud en Colombia.

Algunos de los temas que serÃ¡n objeto de discusiÃ³n son: el propÃ³sito de la Sentencia T-760 de 2008 y sus consecuencias en los gastos del sistema; la ley estatuaria del derecho a la salud y los servicios y tecnologÃas cubiertos mediante el Plan de Beneficios en Salud, los no incluidos en este plan y las exclusiones explÃcitas que se siguen garantizando, amparadas en la autonomÃa del juez constitucional;Â el abuso con la justicia, al llevarla a ordenar medicamentos no verificados en su eficacia a la realidad de nuestra poblaciÃ³n, entre otros.

The Center for Studies on Genetics and Law invites to the talk by Carlos Mario Ramírez, CEO of the General Social Security Resources System Administration (ADRES).

The fourth session of the conference cycle on Genetics and Law aims to analyze the different problems encountered in the funding of the national health system in Colombia.

Among the topics to be discussed are: the purpose of Sentence T-760 of 2008 and its implications in the system costs; the statutory Law on the right to health, and the services and technologies covered by the Health Benefit Plan; those not included in the plan, and explicit exclusions that continue being guaranteed, covered by the autonomy of the constitutional judge. Also, the abuse of justice, ordering medications which have not been verified as to their effectiveness, to the reality of our population, among others.
