Professor Eduardo Andrés Calderón Marenco’s areas of interest are international trade law and international economic law. During his career he has worked as an official in various areas of the Nicaraguan Judiciary, his last position was as General Coordinator of the Labour and Social Security Courts in Managua, he has also been a consultant to various law firms on international trade issues. Professor Eduardo Calderón Marenco has 15 years of teaching experience in national and international undergraduate and graduate courses in international contracting, commercial arbitration and research methodology. He is currently a student in the postdoctoral programme, Universidad Externado de Colombia and Universidad de Zaragoza, Spain. He is a research professor at the Department of Economic Law at Universidad Externado de Colombia, a lecturer and research tutor in the Master’s Degree in Law at the University of Guadalajara and a lecturer at the American University (UAM) in Nicaragua, as well as author and contributor to various publications.
