Free course in Grammar of graphs for statistical analysis in R

Next September 7 and 8, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the Master in Business Intelligence of the School of Economics of the Universidad Externado de Colombia, will offer a free intensive course on graph grammar for statistical analysis in R.

This academic program will provide methodological tools for the interpretation of the graph grammar mechanism and its use in the construction of high-quality statistical graphs, using the «ggplot2» package and its «tidyverse» matrix library.

The course, especially aimed at professionals interested in pursuing their Master’s degree in subjects related to Business Analytics and Data Science, will be carried out through the explanation and execution of practical examples.

Requirements

1. Basic knowledge of programming in the R platform and the use of the R-Studio IDE.

2. Basic elements of Descriptive and Inferential Statistics.

The program will be directed by Arlington Zahir Llerena, professor of the subject Platforms and Information Systems of the Master in Business Intelligence; mathematician and physicist of the Universidad Nacional; master’s degree in Statistical Sciences and Probability Theory and PhD student in Statistics and Mathematics at Tel Aviv University.
