Internships
They are a set of activities that students develop during a determined period of time, whose objective is to integrate and apply the theoretical, conceptual and methodological knowledge acquired during their major studies in specific contexts of their profession (Administrative Management, Tourism and Scientific Humanistic Training), taking into account their communicative, contextual, critical-valuative, investigative and cognitive competencies.
On the other hand, and in most cases, these are their first work experience and the beginning of their professional career. Therefore, the planning, achievement, execution and evaluation of the internships are of vital importance for the students and the Faculty.
In order to generate quality training, the School offers students three types of internships within its curriculum: professional internship, inter-semester internship, and extracurricular internship.
The professional practice is an academic and pedagogical experience, which aims at the student integrating and applying the knowledge and skills acquired during their major studies, in specific contexts of their profession, also strengthening their personal skills and abilities. The professional internship is carried out in the tenth semester, once the student has fulfilled all academic requirements, seeking to facilitate the approach of future professionals to the labor market.
For students who are linked under the 2020 curriculum this internship will be carried out in ninth semester. (Proyecto Académico FAETH, 2019, p. 55)

It has the same requirements as the inter-semester internships, and can be of short or long duration. It is important to point out that in order to carry out this internship the student must be of legal age.
