Mission Statement

A dual purpose motivates the lines of work of the Faculty of Economics: our commitment to students and their families and our commitment to Colombian society.

Since education is the main driver of social mobility and with the potential to open de doors to different personal and professional careers, we consider it an ethical imperative to provide a service of highest quality, plural, in accordance whit the expectations and dreams of our students, their families and their close circle, as well as in accordance whit the needs of the society.

Faithful to this commitment, the actions we adopt at the Faculty of Economics are permanently in dialogue whit students and other members of the academic community and are thought and designed for their current and future well-being.

Vision Statement

The faculty of Economics will continue to be recognized in the country for guaranteeing the rigorous training of upright professionals with knowledge and suitable values that allow them to be agents of change in society, especially in design, execution and evaluation of policies that contribute to the development of the country.

Similarly, by contributing to closing gaps, its postgraduate and continuing educations programs will have a greater regional presence and impact, articulating the academic offer with inter-institutional alliances and promoting cooperation scenarios with strategic actors that contribute to solving problems.
