Undergraduate students
To continuous you find the main academic process with their respective forms.
Once time you had been accepted and had paid the enroll value, you should go to academic secretary and give filled out the forms of data update, together to the following documents:
- Photocopy of identity document or identity card
- Photocopy of high school diploma and original degree certificate
- Three photos 3X4cm with white background
- Results of ICFES SABER 11 exam
- Enrollment receipt
- Download data update form here
- In case that you are a foreign student, you should attach:
- Original and photocopy of visa that authorized you for study in this country.
- Resolution of Nacional Education Minister that authorized the recognition of degree.
- If your origin country has a State exam, you should the ICFES resolution located in the web page of the University for check if this satisfy with the stipulated in the regulation.
You can request a place to take subjects in other faculties of University in the following cases:
- Crossing of schedules
If when you inscribed subjects in the SAP system, you can´t register subjects of your study plan, you should satisfy the followings requirements:
- Search the code and schedule of subject that you want inscribe in other faculty.
- Verify that program content of subject that you want inscribe is similar to the subject that give the faculty economics.
- Verify that credits and schedule intensity coincide with the equivalent subject in the faculty economics.
- Obtain the academic coordinator approval of undergraduate.
- Fill out the form of place application.
- Want see general electives in other faculty
If you want course a general elective, you should satisfy the following requirements:
- Search the code and schedule of subject that you want inscribe in other faculty.
- Verify that credits and schedule intensity coincide with the equivalent elective that want inscribe.
- Obtain the academic coordinator approval of undergraduate.
- Fill out the form of place application.
*NOTE:
- In case that the place will be granted for course the subject in other faculty, you will not be able to cancel, unless the directive council approve that for just cause.
- If the schedule of the Faculty of economic allows you takes the subject, you will not be able to solicit place in other faculty.
- Assignation of places is subject to availability of places and to policies of each faculty.
You should process the requests form to academic council in following cases:
- Semester repetition :
* If you had average less than 3.4
* If you fail three (3) subjects
- Reintegrate: You should process this request if you are student of second (2°) semester onwards, fail a semester and want repeat it.
- Transfer: You should process this request if you are student of other University and want continuous your studies in the Faculty of Economics of Externado de Colombia University. NOTE: In addition to process the place, you should attach the original certificate of grades with programmatic content of the University that you come from.
- Irregular inscription of subjects: You Should process this request when, for justified reasons, you have not been able to inscribe subjects in the establish date.
- Exceed the credits: You should process this request when you want see more than the 18 default credits. For this you must consider:
* You need have an accumulated minimum average of 3.8
* The extra accreditation of up to 20 credit not generate cost
* From 21 credits in onwards, you should pay an additional value.
- Other:
* Extra temporary cancelation of subjects (Not apply languages neither subjects in others faculties)
* Semester cancelation
