Inscripciones abiertas para el diplomado en Escritura de Art�culos Cient�ficos y Tecnol�gicos

Este programa acad�mico de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Humanas del Externado, se propone como un espacio que ofrece herramientas discursivas para redactar textos cient�ficos publicables en revistas indexadas. Por lo dem�s, durante el proceso se ofrecer�n las claves del buen redactor de ciencia: argumentaci�n, uso del espa�ol y �tica, entre otros.

La investigaci�n científica y la publicación del artículo científico son dos actividades íntimamente relacionadas.

Algunas personas creen que la investigación termina cuando se obtienen los resultados, cuando éstos se analizan, cuando se entrega el informe del trabajo o cuando la investigación se presenta en una reunión profesional. Sin embargo, la investigación científica formal y seria termina con la publicación del artículo científico; sólo así la contribución pasará a formar parte del conocimiento científico.

Otros profesionales van más lejos y sugieren que la investigación termina cuando el lector entiende el artículo; es decir, que no basta con publicar el trabajo, también es necesario que la audiencia entienda claramente su contenido. De allí, que se espera que quien haya participado en este diplomado, publique, divulgue y escuche las opiniones de quienes leyeron su producción científica o tecnológica.

Registrations now Open for the Diploma in Drafting Scientific and Technological Articles

This academic program, of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of Externado University, is intended as a space that offers discursive tools for drafting scientific texts which can be published in indexed magazines. Besides that, during the process of study, the keys of the good science drafter will be shared: argumentation, Spanish use, and ethics, among others.

Scientific investigation and the publication of a scientific article are two closely related activities. Some people believe that research ends when the results are obtained and analysed and when the work report is submitted, or when the research findings are presented at a professional meeting. However, formal, and serious scientific investigation ends with the published scientific article. It is only then that the contribution will become part of scientific knowledge.

Other professionals go further and suggest that the investigation finishes when the reader understands the articles; in other words, it is not enough to publish the work. Also, it is necessary for the audience to clearly understand the context. Hence, it is expected that the participants in this program publish, disseminate, and listen to the opinions of those who read their scientific and technological productions.
