Carlos Serrano
Carlos Serrano was born in Bogot, Colombia. Since he was very young, Carlos has been interested in literature, languages and cultures. Carlos holds a B.A. in Philology and Languages from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, a M.A in Comparative Cultures and Literatures from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina, as well as other diplomas and certificates in teaching, creative writing, ESL, etc.
Carlos has worked as an English teacher for more than 14 years in many universities in Bogotá and for institutes and academies abroad. He has also worked as material designer for educational institutions in Colombia, as a translator, proofreader, academic advisor, interpreter and currently as the community manager of social media for Facultad de Patrimonio.
Carlos is passionate about teaching, reading, writing and traveling. Besides Spanish and English, he also speaks French and Portuguese. Carlos finds in languages a door to access the wonderful cosmogonies and cultures of many communities around the world.
