El Instituto de Estudios Interdisciplinarios invita a la comunidad externadista e interesados, a participar en el evento, cuya entrada es libre.

Durante el coloquio se pretende analizar una amenaza relativamente nueva para nuestra sociedad: el ciberterrorismo, entendido como el uso delictivo de los sistemas informáticos y la web para promover o materializar el terrorismo.

De primera mano, se explica en quÃ© consiste el ciberterrorismo y cÃ³mo lo han abordado los sistemas jurÃdicos alrededor del mundo. Posteriormente, se explican las mÃºltiples maneras en que el terrorismo se traslada a los sistemas informÃ¡ticos y a la web.

El evento culminarÃ¡ con el abordaje de tÃpicos efectos de pÃ¡nico generalizado que causa el terrorismo y cÃ³mo estos dentro del mundo cibernÃ©tico pueden llegar a multiplicarse exponencialmente.

The Colloquium aims to analyze a relatively new threat to our society: cyberterrorism â€“ understood as the criminal use of information technology and the web to promote or develop terrorism.

First, Cyberterrorism will be explained and how the legal systems around the world have addressed it. Next, the many ways terrorism has moved to computer systems and the web will be addressed.

The event will conclude with an approach to the typical widespread panic effects caused by terrorism and how they, in the cyber world, can multiply exponentially.
