El Instituto de Estudios Interdisciplinarios invita a toda la comunidad externadista a participar en su próximo Tiempo de Tertulia.

En esta ocasión, se harÃ¡ una mirada retrospectiva a la historia de la mÃºsica para cine y sus principales exponentes en la actualidad en Hollywood.

AdemÃ¡s, se hablarÃ¡ de cÃ³mo la mÃºsicaÂ se desprendiÃ³ de la opera para ser el incentivo de las artes cinematogrÃ¡ficas y cÃ³mo se convirtiÃ³ en parte esencial de sus efectos visuales y afectos sentimentales.

Se escucharÃ¡n tema de los exponentes mÃ¡s brillante del mundo cinematogrÃ¡fico, como lo son Jhon Williams, Henrry Manccini, Danny Elfman, EnzoÂ Morricone, Phillip Glass, entre otros, en ClÃ¡sicos inolvidables como Batman, Superman, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, The Godfather entre muchos otros.

Tiempo de Tertulia es una actividad acadÃ©mica de libre participaciÃ³n que convoca a estudiantes, docentes y otros miembros de la comunidad universitaria, interesados en participar en la discusiÃ³n de diversos temas de actualidad, que por su vigencia y relevancia han destacado para su presentaciÃ³n y debate.

The Interdisciplinary Studies Institute invites the Externadista community to its next “Time for a Gathering.”

This time, the event will look back at the history of music for cinema and its main exponents in Hollywood today.

Also to be discussed is how music was derived from the opera as an incentive to the cinematic arts, and how it became an essential part of its visual and emotional effects.

The gathering features music by some of the world’s most famous film score composers, such as John Williams, Henry Mancini, Danny Elfman, Enzo Morricone, Phillip Glass, among others; also, unforgettable classics, such as the themes from Batman, Superman, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, the Godfather, among many others.

Â“Time for a GatheringÂ” (Tertulia) is free participation academic activity bringing together students, teaching faculty, and other members of the University community interested in discussing various current issues, which due to their actuality and relevance are selected for presentation and debate.
