Seminar – «Royalties General System. Evaluation and prospects for reform»

The Comptroller General Office, the Departments National Federation, and the Externado Faculty of Economics will hold the Seminar May 3, 2018, with participation by a group of high-level experts.
Speakers include Edgardo José Maya, Comptroller General; Juan Carlos Henao, Externado Rector, Beethoven Herrera, Externado Professor Emeritus; Senator Jorge Enrique Robledo; Alejandro Olaya, Colciencias director; Mauricio Cárdenas SantamarÃa, Minister of Finance and Public Credit, and Guillermo Perry, former Finance Minister, among other leading experts.
The event features a series of conferences on nodal topics of the General System of Royalties (SGR), which will subsequently be commented and discussed with several Government Governors and officials.
The meetingÂ’s purpose is to discuss the substantive elements that could guide the current system reform, taking as starting point the results of the studies conducted by the Comptroller General Office, in particular the “Evaluación del SGR: Los OCAD y la gestión por proyectos, ” and the “Evaluación del Fondo de Ciencia, TecnologÃa e Innovación.”
