Monitoring and analysis of public policies in Colombia – 2021 Yearbook
Open call for articles for the ninth edition of the Yearbook.
The Monitoring and Analysis of Public Policies in Colombia Yearbook, belonging to the Policies, Execution, and Results of Public Administration Observatory (OPERA), attached to the Center for Research and Special Projects (CIPE) of the Externado de Colombia University Finance, Government and International Relations Faculty opens its call for papers for the 2021 edition.
This will be the ninth edition of the Yearbook and will aim to address the different positions that, in terms of public policies, have been taken due to the health emergency derived from COVID- 19.
This edition intends to analyze the behavior of the central public policies in the country, their adjustments, developments, and responses registered within the framework of the health emergency, observing the main changes, their adaptation or transformation logic, and the ability of decision-makers to address the COVID-19 phenomenon and the transition to a new normality context. Here, the analysis and monitoring of public policies emerge as a valuable tool to understand the decision-making process in uncertainty and risk contexts. Likewise, we would like to have public policy comparative analyses to serve as a reference for the country and territories.
As in the last edition, the Yearbook would promote discussion around national and local nature’s public policies. In the same way, we urge to address all the dynamics that have not been the object of intervention and that, under the sharp gaze of policy analysts, need prompt action. We invite all interested to submit their proposals for articles in the framework of the following areas: Justice and Human Rights; Economy, Environment, Public Management, Finance; Security and Peace; Foreign Policy; Mobility; Employment, Education; Health; ICT and Science; Technology and Innovation; Habitat and Social Policy.
