Investigadores del Instituto de Estudios del Antiguo Egipto (IEAE) ser�n profesores invitados del Curso de Introducci�n a la Egiptolog�a

Teresa Bedman y Francisco Mart�n, reconocidos egipt�logos del Instituto de Estudios del Antiguo Egipto, har�n parte del grupo de docentes a cargo del curso Introducci�n a la Egiptolog�a, ofrecido por la Facultad de Estudios del Patrimonio Cultural de la Universidad Externado de Colombia.

Francisco y Teresa son director y codirectora del IEAE, fundado hace m�s de 25 años con el propósito de promover la investigación, conservación y divulgación del patrimonio egipcio. Desde el Instituto, estos dos egiptólogos han adelantado importantes excavaciones arqueológicas como el reciente proyecto Visir Amen-Hotep Huy, en el que participó la profesora de nuestra Casa de Estudios, Diana Carvajal, que ha aportado cientos de evidencias entre las que se encuentran tumbas, momias, estructuras, material cerámico, grabados en piedra, entre otros.

En esta ocasión, Francisco, Teresa y Diana compartirán sus conocimientos y trayectoria en este curso introductorio a la egiptología en línea con todos los apasionados por los misterios y enigmas de una de las civilizaciones más interesantes de la antigüedad. Researchers from the Institute of Ancient Egyptian Studies (IEAE) invited to be professors on the Introduction to Egyptology course.

Teresa Bedman y Francisco Mart�n, well-known Egyptologists from the Institute of Ancient Egyptian Studies will form part of the group of teachers in charge of the Introduction to Eguptology course offered by the Faculty of Cultural Heritage at the Externado University.

Francisco and Teresa are director and co-director of the IEAE which was created more than 25 years ago to promote research, conservation and share information about Egyptian cultural heritage. At the institute, these two Egyptologists have furthered important archaeological excavations such as the recent Visir Amen-Hotep Huy, in which Diana Carvajal, a professor at the Externado participated, and who contributed with hundreds of pieces of evidence found in tombs, mummies, various structures, ceramic material and stone carvings, among others.

Francisco, Teresa and Diana will share their knowledge and track record in this Introduction to Egyptology course, in keeping with their passion for the mysteries and enigmas of one of the most interesting ancient civilizations. Registration for th course is open until February, 28th.
