XIII Encuentro Internacional de Periodismo estará dedicado a nuevas narrativas

Del 21 al 23 de abril se realizará el XIII Encuentro Internacional de Periodismo “En la ruta de las nuevas narrativas”, organizado por la Facultad de Comunicación Social – Periodismo del Externado en alianza con la Cámara Colombiana del Libro, en el marco de la Feria Internacional del Libro de Bogotá, FilBo 2022.

Este encuentro es uno de los eventos de periodismo más importantes de la región, y su décima tercera versión estará dedicada a las nuevas narrativas que han surgido en el mundo del periodismo, desde las viñetas de la caricatura, los webcómics y las artes gráficas, hasta los formatos audiovisuales, videojuegos, medios digitales y redes sociales. Todos estos temas estarán bajo la mirada de importantes periodistas, escritores y expertos que compartirán su experiencia durante los tres días del encuentro.

La apertura del Encuentro se realizará el próximo 21 de abril a la 1:30 p.m. en Corferias, y contará con la participación de Kevin Nieto, diseñador y diagramador del Centro de Memoria Histórica; Lina Flórez, periodista e investigadora de Altais comic; y Pablo Guerra, editor y creador de varios libros sobre los conflictos sociales del país; quienes conversarán con el docente investigador, Ph.D. Daniel Aguilar, sobre la realidad colombiana a través de las viñetas y la caricatura.

La charla está titulada «La realidad colombiana en unos pocos trazos». Desde las viñetas de la caricatura y las artes gráficas también se ha investigado, abordado y esbozado el conflicto colombiano para entregar unas narrativas y unos productos que ayudan a difundir de modo alternativo contenidos que hasta hoy se han trabajado básicamente a través de la palabra, la fotografía y los formatos audiovisuales.

XIII International Journalism Meeting – in Honour of New Narratives

The XIII International Journalism Meeting “On the Path of the New Narratives” will take place from 21 to 23 April. The event is organised by the Social Communication – Journalism Faculty of the Externado de Colombia in partnership with the Colombian Chamber of Books, within the framework of the International Book Fair in Bogota, FILBo 2022.

This encounter is one of the most important journalism events in the region and, in its 23rd version, will be dedicated to the new narratives that have emerged in the journalism world. It will cover cartoon illustrations, webcomics and graphic arts as well as audio-visuals, videogames, digital media, and social networks. All these themes will come into the limelight of important journalists, writers and experts that will share their experience over the three days that the event is happening.

The opening of the Encounter will take place on 21 April at 1:30 p.m. in Corferias and will feature the participation of Kevin Nieto, designer, and layout designer from the Centre for Historical Memory; Lina Flórez, journalist and investigator from Altais comic; and Pablo Guerra, editor and author of several books about the social conflicts of the country. Together, they will hold a discussion with professor and researcher, Daniel Aguilar, Ph.D, about the Colombian reality through vignettes and cartoons.

The conversation is entitled “the Colombian reality in a few strokes.” It will feature cartoon illustrations and graphic arts and has been researched, delineated, and addressed from the perspective of the Colombian conflict to deliver narratives and products that help to disseminate alternative contents that, until now, had only been shared through the spoken word, photography and in audio-visual format.
