Economist, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana; postgraduate degree in Financial and Stock Exchange Law, Universidad Externado de Colombia; Master in Political Science, Universidad Javeriana; Doctor in Legal Sociology and Political Institutions, Universidad Externado de Colombia.

Professional experience:

She has professional experience as: head of the Department of Socio-economic Research of the National Centre for Construction Studies (CENAC); supervisor of the housing demand area of the institutional strengthening project of the United Nations Human Settlements Organization agency CNUHA-HABITAT for Colombia; head of the Office of Economic Studies, Economic Advisor of the Office and Delegated Superintendent (in charge) for Market Promotion and Development in the Superintendence of Securities.

Teaching experience as a professor of seminars on economic regulation and financial regulation and the stock market in undergraduate and postgraduate studies, as a speaker at events in Colombia and abroad and as a leader of the research methodology component of the Master in Economic Law research at the Universidad Externado de Colombia. She has also been a researcher and leader – coordinator of the research group in Law and Economics at Universidad Externado de Colombia.

She is currently a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Economic Law at Universidad Externado de Colombia.
