Undergraduates

Economics, as part of the training of a lawyer, allows the understanding of the market and its agents as an object of study of the law. Both disciplines converge in the national and international reality opening the doors to a global world with avant-garde law. For this reason, Economic Law provides students with the tools to solve comprehensively complex problems related to: competition law, consumer law, public services, investment arbitration, economic regulation, economic analysis of law (EAL), financial and stock market law, creative and cultural industries, entertainment law and international economic law, trade, transactions and investment.

Our pillars:

Interdisciplinary

Students will have the opportunity to acquire an integral development without borders. Our study is not limited to legal science but to the convergence and harmonization of multiple areas of knowledge that allow application in different fields of action. The professional in Economic Law adapts easily to the dynamics of his environment, breaking the scheme of the traditional lawyer by using additional tools that complement their curriculum such as: economics, administration, negotiation, finance, mathematics, languages, among others.

International projection:

Our students will acquire the skills to operate in the national and internationally. From the third year of Law, the student will be able to select seminars and participate in moot courts to strengthen their profile through a transnational approach to Economic Law. Future lawyers will be able to take courses that are taught 100% in English.

Critical research:

Our students will have the ability to argue their different positions based on theoretical and practical elements of economic law. This skill allows them to produce new knowledge, enriching the debates around law and economics, in spaces like research groups that promote the exchange of ideas and the construction of society.
