Lawyer from Universidad Externado de Colombia, specialist in Financial Legislation from Universidad de los Andes, specialist in Development Law (D.L.C.), from the International Development Law Institute (Rome) and Master in Comparative Jurisprudence (M.C.L.) from New York University (N.Y.U.), School of Law, New York. He has served as Director of the Legal Office of the Ministry of Economic Development, Delegate for Insurance of the Colombian Banking Superintendence, Delegate for the Promotion of Competition of the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, Superintendent of Industry and Commerce, President of Asobolsa, Director of the Department of Economic Law of the Universidad Externado de Colombia and Consultant in the firm Archila Abogados. He is currently a presidential advisor for stabilization and consolidation and a professor at the Universidad Externado de Colombia.
